Gojūshiho Shō and Gojūshiho Dai are two versions in Shotokan of the Shōrin-ryū kata called Useishi (54) or Gojūshiho.
History:
Useishi (or gojushiho) is an old shurite kata whose roots stretch back to
Sokon Matsumura’s time.
It may very well be derived ultimately from Fujian, China
