Greet in the musubi-dachiposition.

Announce the”Gankaku”kata.

Yoi: In the hachiji-dachiposition. Fists closed in front of the hips.

1. Haishu awase-uke: Step back the right hip while pulling your hands open backwards. Step back with your right foot, sending your hands forward in a circular path without which the two lapels meet (right arm above). Keep rolling back your right foot to find yourself in the kokutsu-dachiposition. At the same time, run a double block of high level handflips (haishu awase-uke)by swiping hands from right to left.

2. Gyaku te-dori:

(2A) Without uncrossing the wrists, and still in the kokutsu-dachiposition, lower the right hand to the

left side and rotate the left hand on itself so as to turn the palm to the sky (2B) Swing the left hand towards the right hand and bring the right hand back on the same trajectory so as to exert an inverted hand grab(gyaku te-dori))

3. Hidari chudan-zuki: Always in the kokutsu-dachiposition, as soon as the hands are at chest height, send a left punch medium level(chudan-zuki), right fist in hikity.

4. Migi chudan gyaku-zuki: Then carry an inverted right middle level punch(gyaku-zuki).

5. Migi gedan-barai/Migi fumikomi-geri:

(5A) Throw the right leg up in front of you and to the left by swivelling on the left leg and raising the right fist far above the head, left fist in hikity.

(5B)Complete your 360-degree rotation with a crushed right kick(fumikomi-geri)to find yourself in the kiba-dachi position. At the same time, run a right descending block(gedan-barai).

6. Jodan haishu juji-uke: Pivot the pelvis 90 degrees to the left and slightly move the legs closer together by recoiling your left foot and advancing your right foot, so that you will find yourself in the motorcycle-dachi position. Simultaneously, send open hands in front of you to perform a cross-blocking of thebackhands (haishu juji-uke),right hand above.

7. Chudan juji-uke: Without moving your legs, lower your elbows by bringing them back to the bust and closing your fists for a blockage in medium-level(juji-uke).

8. Nidan-geri – Migi tobi mae-geri/Hidari tobi mae-geri: Without altering the upper half of the body, wear a double jumped foot cut(nidan-geri),Start by pushing on the left leg to carry a right jump frontal kick(migi tobi mae-geri) chained with a left jumped frontal kick(hidari tobi mae-geri).

9. Gedan juji-uke: Place your left foot in front of the right foot in the zenkutsu-dachiposition, at the same time as you are running a cross-descending blockage(juji-uke).

10. Gedan juji-uke: Pivot on the right foot 180 degrees to the right and advance your left foot in the zenkutsu-dachi position. Arm your fists at the right hip and run a cross-descending blockage(juji-uke)in the opposite direction.

11. Morote gedan-uke: Turn your head to the right to look in the opposite direction. In doing so, shift your right foot behind your back and rotate 180 degrees towards lad riote in order to turn around. Settle in the kasei-kokutsu-dachi position (The pelvis is lowered than usual), at the same time as you run a low-level 2-hand block(morote gedan-uke).

12. Morote gedan shuto-uke: Advance your left foot in the kasei-kokutsu-dachiposition. At the same time, arm the right hand to the left shoulder before performing a double descending blockage of the edges of the low level hands(morote gedan shuto-uke).

13. Chudan shuto kakiwake-uke: Advance your right foot by crossing your wrists in front of your chest (left wrist above, palms facing the sky). Continue the advance of the right foot to find yourself in the zenkutsu-dachiposition. At the same time, rotate your hands outwards to make a switching off of the edges of the middle-level hands (shuto khawake-uke).

14. Chudan haito kakiwake-uke:

(14A) Pivot 90 degrees to the left, slide your left foot into your back to align it with your right foot and end up in the kiba-dachi position. At the same time, lower and cross your arms in front of you.

(14B) Raise your arms by spreading them and swivelling your hands outwards to make a separatist blockage of the inner edges of the hands (haito khaakiwake-uke).

15. Ryowan-gamae:

(15A) Extend your legs by bringing your feet back to each other in the hachiji-dachi position. In doing so, extend your arms directly to the sides and then upwards. Gather the arms and lower them by crossing them in front of you at chest height, following a wide circular trajectory.

(15B) Open your fists when they reach chest height. Complete the movement of the arms by extending them downwards, on either side of the body(ryowan-gamae).

16. Manji-uke (Migi jodan uchi-ude-uke/Hidari gedan-barai):

(16A) Turn your head to the left, shift your left foot to the left by arming your left fist with your right shoulder and extending your right arm in front of you.

(16B) Switch to the kokutsu-dachi position and run a high/low lock(manji-uke):inside-outside right level high in your back(migi jodan uchi-ude-uke)and a left-down block low level in front of you(hidari gedan-barai).

17. Manji-uke (Hidari jodan uchi-ude-uke/Migi gedan-barai): Advance your right foot to find yourself in the kokutsu-dachi position and run a new high/low blockage (manji-uke) in the same direction: inside-outside left level high in your back(hidari jodan uchi-ude-uke)and a low right level descending block in front of you(migi gedan-barai).

18. Manji-uke (Migi jodan uchi-ude-uke/Hidari gedan-barai):

(18A) Turn your head to the left, bring the left foot back to the right foot and rotate the pelvis to the left

(18B)Keep rolling back the left foot by arming the left fist with your right shoulder and extending your right arm in front of you. Settle in the kokutsu-dachi position in the opposite direction. Run a third high/low lock(manji-uke): inside-outside right level high in your back(migi jodan uchi-ude-uke)and a low-level left down block in front of you(hidari gedan-barai).

19. Gedan juji-uke: Bring the left foot closer to the right foot before sliding it backwards, while bending the left knee to lower the pelvis by raising both elbows backwards. Bring your right knee to the ground in the katahiza-dachi position. Simultaneously, send them down in front of you to execute a cross-scending blockage(juji-uke).

20. Ryowan chudan uchi-ude-uke: When raising the pelvis, shift the right foot to the right by extending the right arm to the left and the left arm to the right. Settle in the kiba-dachi position and perform a double inner-outdoor medium-level lock(uchi-ude-uke).

21. Ryowan-gamae:

(21A) Extend your legs by bringing your feet back to each other in the hachiji-dachiposition. In doing so, extend your arms directly to the sides and then upwards. Gather the arms and lower them by crossing them in front of you at chest height, following a wide circular trajectory.

(21B) Open your fists when they reach chest height. Complete the movement of the arms by extending them downwards, on either side of the body in a ryowan-gamae posture.

22. Ryoken koshi-gamae/Migi hiji-barai/Hidari hiji-barai:

(22A) Always in the hachiji-dachi position bring the 2 fists back to you by applying them on the flanks and spreading the elbows sideways in ryoken koshi-gamae posture.

(22B) Swing the pelvis to the left powerfully to adopt a left-facing motorcycle-dachi position. In doing so, run a swept blockage of the right elbow (migi hiji-barai) for a shot coming from the front.

(22C) Swing the pelvis to the right powerfully to adopt a right-facing motorcycle-dachi position. In doing so, run a swept blockage of the left elbow (hidari hiji-barai) for a shot coming from the front.

23. Morote chudan uchi-ude-uke: Pivot the pelvis to the right and, resting on your right foot, settle into a kosa-dachi position. Simultaneously, cross your arms in front of your chest, fists down, before performing a double inner-outdoor medium level(uchi-ude-uke).

24. Migi jodan uchi-ude-uke/Hidari gedan-barai: Turn your head to the left, arm your left fist over your right shoulder, extending your right arm down to the left. As you go up the pelvis, raise your left foot along the back of your right leg. Bring the left foot in crochet behind the right knee in the tsuru-ashi-dachiposition. Simultaneously perform an inner-outside right level high lock in your back (jodan uchi-ude-uke) and a left descending blockage to your left side(gedan-barai). You are in a gankaku-gamae posture.

25. Koshi-gamae: Reverse the position of the fists, the left rises on the left side above the head and the right descending to the right hip. Bring the left fist on the right fist following a broad circular trajectory in a koshi-gamae posture.

26. Hidari yoko-geri keage/Hidari yoko-mawashi uraken-uchi: Execute a left whipped side kick(yoko-geri) along with a left circular side kick (mawashi uraken-uchi).

27. Migi chudan oï-zuki:

(27A) Without flexing the left arm, immediately bring back the left foot.

(27B) Rest your left foot in the direction of the kick and move your right foot in the same direction.

(27C) Settle in the zenkutsu-dachi position, while carrying an elongated frontal punch right middle level(oï-zuki).

28. Hidari jodan uchi-ude-uke/Migi gedan-barai: When moving the right foot back towards the left foot, arm the right hand above the left shoulder by extending the left arm downwards in front of you. As you go up the pelvis, raise the right foot along the back of the left leg. Bring the right foot into a hook behind the left knee in the tsuru-ashi-dachiposition. Simultaneously perform an inner-outside left high level lock in your back (jodan uchi-ude-uke)and a right descending blockage to your left side(gedan-barai). You’re in a gankaku-gamae posture.

29. Koshi-gamae: Reverse the position of the fists, the right rises on the right side above the head and the left descending to the left hip. Bring your right fist to your left fist following a wide circular trajectory in a koshi-gamae posture.

30. Migi yoko-geri keage/Migi yoko-mawashi uraken-uchi: Execute a right whipped side kick(yoko-geri) along with a right circular side kick (yoko uraken-uchi).

31. Hidari sokumen-zuki: Rest your right foot in the direction of the kick and adopt a kiba-dachi position, while carrying a left-sided middle-level punch(sokumen-zuki).

32. Migi jodan uchi-ude-uke/Hidari gedan-barai: Turn your head to the left, arm your left fist over your right shoulder, extending your right arm down to the left. As you go up the pelvis, raise your left foot along the back of your right leg. Bring the left foot in crochet behind the right knee in the tsuru-ashi-dachi position. Simultaneously perform an inner-outside right level high lock in your back (jodan uchi-ude-uke)and a left descending blockage to your left side(gedan-barai). You’re in a gankaku-gamae posture.

33. Koshi-gamae: Reverse the position of the fists, the left rises on the left side above the head and the right descending to the right hip. Bring the left fist on the right fist following a broad circular trajectory in a koshi-gamae posture.

34. Hidari yoko-geri keage/Hidari yoko-mawashi uraken-uchi: Execute a left whipped side kick(yoko-geri) along with a left circular side kick(yoko uraken-uchi).

35. Migi sokumen-zuki: Rest your left foot in the direction of the kick and adopt a kiba-dachiposition, while carrying a right-side punch medium level(sokument-zuki).

36. Migi jodan shuto-uke: Still in the kiba-dachi position, turn your head to the right while blocking the edge of the right-hand level up to the right(shuto-uke).

37. Tate empi-uchi: Slide your right foot backwards by swivelling the pelvis 90 degrees to the right to find yourself in the zenkutsu-dachi position, while performing a left upward elbow against the open right palm(tate empi-uchi).

38. Soete koshi-gamae: Lower the arms and let the left elbow go backwards along the left flank. In doing so, open your left hand and close your right fist. While turning the pelvis to the left, bring both hands above the left hip and apply the face of the right fist against the left palm. You are in a soete koshi-gamae posture.

39. Koshi-gamae:

(39A) Advance the left foot and raise the left knee by sending both arms upwards. In doing so, your hands stay in touch with each other.

(39B) By crocheting the left foot behind the right knee in the tsuru-ashi-dachi position, pivot on the right foot by turning the pelvis to the right and raising your hands above the head

(39C) By completing your pelvis rotation by 270 degrees, lower both hands above the right hip by closing the left fist and coming to apply it on the closed right fist in a koshi-gamae posture.

40. Hidari yoko-geri keage/Hidari yoko-mawashi uraken-uchi: Execute a left whipped side kick(yoko-geri) along with a left circular side kick (yoko uraken-uchi).

41. Migi chudan oï-zuki: Rest your left foot in front of you in the direction of the kick and move your right foot in the same direction. Settle in the zenkutsu-dachi position, while carrying an elongated right-right mid-level head punch(oï-zuki).

Kiai!!!

Yame: Leaning on the right foot, rotate 180 degrees to the left, aligning the left foot with your right foot in the heisoku-dachiposition. Bring your fists back to hip height.
